The food was exceptional, especially the veggie frittata and roasted potatoes at breakfast. Also, the room we had was peaceful with a large tub, making it easy to unwind and enjoy some quiet time together.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

Had an awesome time staying here with friends! We enjoyed renting kayaks from Main Stream Canoes and explored the scenic beauty of the Housatonic River. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Don’t miss out on visiting some nearby lakes for a fun paddle! Perfect for a group getaway.
The only downside was the limited parking space, which made it tricky when we arrived with multiple cars.

The beautifully maintained inn features period-correct furniture that adds charm to the Deluxe King Suite. Breakfasts were a highlight, especially the delicious crêpes, while the friendly staff truly made the stay enjoyable. A longer stay would have been nice, but noise from neighboring rooms was occasionally distracting. Some amenities felt slightly outdated and could use a refresh.

Oh man, the daily fresh fish was a highlight – absolutely mouthwatering! The Inn oozes charm with its well-maintained, period furniture. And let's not forget about the friendly staff who made our 2-night stay feel like catching up with old pals over breakfast. Kudos to all for a fab long weekend!
If I had to nitpick, the lack of a dedicated dinner service felt like a missed opportunity, but honestly, the nearby eateries more than made up for it. We had our pick of killer local restaurants to satisfy our cravings.
